Delighted Alternatives for Shopify Stores (2026)

If you ran NPS or CSAT through Delighted, you already know how this ends. Qualtrics acquired Delighted in 2018, then sunset it to concentrate on its enterprise XM Suite. Customer access ended on June 30, 2026, and Qualtrics' own page now says plainly that Delighted "is no longer available."

So this is not a "migrate before the deadline" article. The deadline passed. This is for the Shopify operators who are living without a feedback tool right now and want to pick the next one without repeating the mistake.

One disclosure up front: we build OrderSurvey. Read our entry as the maker's description, it is concrete and you can verify every claim on our listing. For the other apps, we deliberately avoid quoting features and prices that drift out of date. Confirm current details on each app's Shopify App Store listing.

First, get your data out

If you retain any access to your Delighted account, export your historical responses before doing anything else. Exports are the one asset a sunset takes from you permanently, and no replacement tool can reconstruct them.

It is also worth writing down, in one page, what your Delighted program actually did: which surveys ran, on what trigger, to whom, and which numbers you reported to the business. That page becomes your requirements list. Most teams discover their real program was two surveys and one metric, not the platform they were paying for.

The question that decides your shortlist

Delighted was a general-purpose CX tool. It surveyed people by email and by shareable link, for any kind of business. Shopify survey apps are a different shape: they ask at the moment of purchase, inside the store.

That difference decides everything, so answer this first:

Were you using Delighted to measure the post-purchase experience of a Shopify store? If yes, a Shopify-native survey app is a closer fit than another CX platform, and usually a cheaper and simpler one.

Were you using it to survey a broader audience, on your own schedule, by email? Then you want another general CX or survey platform. Qualtrics will happily sell you one, and there are plenty of independent options. A Shopify post-purchase app will not cover that, and any vendor who tells you otherwise is selling.

The rest of this page assumes the first answer.

Why post-purchase beats email for store feedback

This is the part worth internalizing, because it is why many stores end up happier after the switch than before.

Delighted-style email surveys have to interrupt someone later, in an inbox they did not open for you, competing with everything else. Response rates reflect that. A post-purchase survey asks on the Thank You page, seconds after someone has chosen to give you money, while the experience is still in working memory. The intent is already there. You are not buying attention, you are borrowing a moment you already have.

For attribution questions in particular ("how did you hear about us?"), the timing matters even more, because the answer decays fast. Ask a week later by email and you are measuring memory. Ask at checkout and you are measuring the truth.

The shortlist

Six Shopify apps worth considering, each with the job it is actually best at. Delighted covered NPS, CSAT, and 5-star ratings, so every entry below can do that much. What separates them is placement, depth, and how the price behaves as you grow.

1. OrderSurvey

OrderSurvey runs surveys on Shopify's native extension surfaces. Concretely:

  • Three placements. Thank You page, Order Status page, and Shopify POS for in-store sales. The POS surface is genuinely uncommon, so if you have a counter as well as a website, one tool covers both.
  • Question types. NPS, star rating, single and multi select, dropdown, short and long text. Conditional branching shows follow-up questions based on the previous answer, so a detractor can be asked a different question than a promoter.
  • Targeting rules. Order value, products, customer tags, country, currency, plus scheduling windows and survey priority when more than one is live.
  • Permissions. No customer or order data scopes at install. It stores the answers shoppers submit, and honors Shopify's GDPR data request and redaction webhooks.
  • Pricing. Free up to 100 responses per 30 days, with unlimited surveys, both web placements, branching, and targeting included. Pro is a flat $49 per month for unlimited responses, CSV export, and webhook alerts. Flat, not metered by order volume.
  • Setup. No theme code. Add the app block in Shopify's checkout editor and the survey is live.

What it will not do for you. No email surveys and no shareable survey links, which were Delighted's two main channels. Shopify only. It is not a CX platform with ticketing, workflows, or cross-channel dashboards. If your Delighted program depended on any of that, we are the wrong answer and would rather you know now.

Best fit: stores that want attribution and satisfaction in one privacy-light app, and retail brands who need in-store feedback in the same system as online.

2. Grapevine

The closest like-for-like swap for a Delighted NPS or CSAT program, and the one we would look at first if flat, predictable pricing is the thing driving your decision. Grapevine is a long-standing Shopify post-purchase survey app covering NPS, CSAT, and attribution, it prices as a single flat monthly fee for unlimited responses, and it is currently priced below our own Pro plan.

Being straight about that: if your Delighted program was a couple of standing satisfaction surveys and cost is what you care about, Grapevine may simply be the better buy. Confirm current pricing and placements on its Shopify listing, and see our OrderSurvey vs Grapevine comparison for the head-to-head framework.

Best fit: a straight NPS or CSAT replacement at a predictable flat price.

3. Fairing

The category leader for marketing attribution, with the deepest track record of any app on this list and a large base of public reviews behind it. Fairing specializes in tying "how did you hear about us?" responses to order and lifetime-value data, and it has published its own guide to migrating NPS surveys off Delighted, so the path is well trodden.

Pricing is metered rather than flat, so model it at your real order volume before committing. See our OrderSurvey vs Fairing comparison and the broader Fairing alternatives page.

Best fit: attribution is the point, and you want the most established option with an analytics stack behind it.

4. Zigpoll

A flexible survey and poll tool that works across several storefront touchpoints rather than post-purchase alone, with a free tier to start on. If your Delighted usage was broader than the thank-you page, or you want one lightweight tool covering polls in more than one place, it is worth a look. See our OrderSurvey vs Zigpoll comparison.

Best fit: you want surveys in several places on the storefront, not only after checkout.

5. Kno Commerce

A post-purchase survey platform popular with larger DTC brands, built around segmentation depth. Its pitch is slicing responses across a wide set of Shopify attributes such as order value, products purchased, order count, and tags, which is more analysis than most stores need and exactly right for the ones that do. Tiered pricing that climbs quickly, so check where you land. See our OrderSurvey vs Kno Commerce comparison.

Best fit: you have enough volume that segmenting responses is the whole value.

6. Pathlight

The newest name here and worth knowing about because it is currently free to install, which makes it the lowest-commitment way to get a survey running while you decide. Smaller track record than the others, so weigh that accordingly and confirm what the free tier covers today.

Best fit: you need something collecting responses this week with no budget conversation.

How to evaluate any of them

Whichever names make your shortlist, score them on the same five dimensions:

  1. Placements. Which surfaces can it ask on, and does that include anywhere you sell besides the web checkout?
  2. Logic. Does it support branching and multi-question flows, or only single questions?
  3. Permissions. What data scopes does it request at install? This matters more every year, and it is the fastest thing to check.
  4. Pricing shape. Flat, or metered by orders and responses? Model it at next year's volume, not this month's.
  5. Export. Can you get every response out as CSV whenever you want?

That last one is the Delighted lesson. You just lost a tool you did not choose to lose. Pick the next one partly on how easily you could leave it.

Then run a one-week live test with your two finalists, same question, real orders. A week of production data beats any comparison page, including this one.

Migration checklist

  1. Export everything you can still reach from Delighted.
  2. Write down the two or three questions that actually drove decisions. Leave the rest behind.
  3. Install a replacement and rebuild only those questions. Programs bloat over years, a migration is a free chance to cut.
  4. Add the app block to every surface you sell on, including in store if that applies.
  5. Place one test order and confirm the survey renders before you consider it done. This is the step most people skip, and it is the reason a survey sits silently collecting nothing.
  6. Check that you can export from the new tool on day one, not on the day you need it.

The honest summary

If Delighted was measuring your Shopify customers after they bought, you will very likely end up with better response rates and a smaller bill on any of the post-purchase apps above. If it was doing something broader, email programs, non-Shopify audiences, or platform-level CX workflows, then no Shopify survey app replaces it and you should be shopping in a different category entirely.

Within the shortlist, the short version: pick Grapevine if flat low cost is the deciding factor, Fairing if attribution depth is, Kno Commerce if you need heavy segmentation, and OrderSurvey if you want attribution and satisfaction in one app without broad data scopes, or if you sell in person as well as online and want both in one place.

You can install OrderSurvey free and have a survey live in a few minutes. The free plan is a real plan, not a trial, so you can rebuild your Delighted program and see actual responses before deciding whether it is worth paying for.

Frequently asked questions

Is Delighted really shut down?

Yes. Qualtrics, which acquired Delighted in 2018, sunset the product and now states on its own page that Delighted "is no longer available." Customer access ended on June 30, 2026. Qualtrics directs former users toward its XM Suite.

What is the best Delighted alternative for a Shopify store?

It depends on what you were using Delighted for. If it was post-purchase NPS or CSAT tied to orders, a Shopify-native survey app is a closer fit than a general CX platform, because it asks at checkout instead of chasing customers by email. Grapevine is the closest like-for-like on flat pricing, Fairing is strongest on attribution, Kno Commerce on segmentation, and OrderSurvey covers attribution plus satisfaction with no broad data scopes and in-store POS surveys. Zigpoll and Pathlight are also worth a look.

Can OrderSurvey send email surveys like Delighted did?

No. Delighted's primary channels were email and shareable links. OrderSurvey deliberately does not do email. It asks on Shopify's Thank You page, Order Status page, and Shopify POS, at the moment of purchase. If email delivery is essential to your program, OrderSurvey is not a drop-in replacement.

How do I get my historical Delighted responses?

Export them from your Delighted account if you still have any access. Once a vendor sunsets a product, exports are the one thing you cannot get back later, so treat this as the first step of any migration rather than the last.

What does OrderSurvey cost?

The free plan covers up to 100 responses per 30 days with unlimited surveys, both web placements, conditional branching, and targeting rules. Pro is a flat $49 per month for unlimited responses, CSV export, and webhook alerts.
